Captain BarnacleA well deserved RYA Award for Richard Blackburn
Richard Blackburn has been recognised for his commitment to Ribble Cruising Club by the RYA.
The citation from the RYA reads ‘Your time energy and passion makes a meaningful difference and we are grateful for your valuable support’.
Richard was presented with the certificate at the recent ‘Festive Friday’ event by the Commodore, also in the photo is Andrew Smith who made the recommendation to the RYA.

Captain BarnacleColin on his new toy
We all thank Colin for his work in maintaining the ‘lawns’ at the dock.
He now has a “new to RCC’ tractor with which to manicure the barbecue lawn.
The old one was condemned as unserviceable last week.

Captain BarnacleTry Sailing at Fairhaven Lake – Wednesday Evenings in May at 6.30pm
If you would like to ‘Try Sailing’ come along to Fairhaven Lake on any Wednesday evening in May and a member of the sailing club will take you for a sail in a safe and comfortable boat.
If you then feel that you’d like to take your interest further you have the opportunity to join the sailing club.
